Kitchens of the World: Tasting the world’s richest flavors and cultures

“Walk in someone else’s shoes or at least eat their food,” a grey-haired man once said. “It’s a plus for everybody.”

Food, after all, is an all-encompassing showcase of everything a place has to offer – its history, culture, and people. It’s an important lesson, one that Anthony Bourdain taught us: to move, as far as your feet can take you; to ask questions, to sate your curiosity; and to eat, to help you get to know the world just a bit better.

In Kitchens of the World, we aim to do just that. Hosted by Chef Reggie Aspiras, the series will peek behind the curtains of distinguished kitchens all over the world. Join Chef Reggie as she tours different countries to find some of the most refined and cultivated dishes. Each episode features all kinds of guests, from locals, foodies, and bona fide culinary masters. “We discover culture through food,” Chef Reggie tells us. “And what better way is there?”

For the series, we flew to great places, aplenty. The teasers for our Osaka and Seoul episodes are up now. Watch them below.

The first season of Kitchens of the World will premiere soon. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch the episodes first!
