Long frequented as a casual rendezvous for the ever-lively crowd in Poblacion, Makati, Kampai is re-opening its doors to fill your nights with good food, good music, and good fun.
After a two-year hiatus, Kampai is re-opening its doors for the ever-alive drinking crowd of Poblacion, Makati. This time around, owner Marco Viray hopes to recapture the essence of what made Kampai the preferred rendezvous for casual drinkers…and then some.
“We’ve added a lot of things to the bar,” says Marco. “We’ve got six new cocktail drinks. As well as a full-bar menu curated by none other than Lee Watson himself. And of course, good music.”
With such a complete overhaul, Kampai’s comeback promises a fuller experience for Makati’s city dwellers. Partnering with head chef Kel Zeguirre, Kampai introduces an impressive full-bar menu, complete with a Spicy Tuna Tostada, Steak Fried Rice with Foie, and Street Food Curry – all of which are honest-to-goodness treats for a night of drinking with friends.
As for the drinks: there’s Furikake Basil Sour, a basil sour with a Japanese twist; and Kampai High Ball, the go-to drink for many of Kampai’s patrons made with authentic Japanese soda water.
